First Stop - Bag Drop

WE are making a difference! Our first bag drop is completed. 30 bags were dropped in Goa, thanks to our customers buying 30 of our Pocketbags. That’s 30 children who will now be able to go to school and have the chance of an education. Nelson Mandela said that "education is the most powerful weapon that you can use to change the world." This is something we strongly believe in, and being able to see the end result of our hard work is great. You can rock your new Pocketbag with pride, knowing that you have improved the life of a child in India, providing them with the tools and confidence to start their new journey.

A little about our bag provider -

Our bag provider is an Indian-based charity which facilitated the bag drop. They are a UK registered charity, which was established in 2012 with the primary aim of helping disadvantaged children and young people in Goa, India. We work alongside this charity with their Bags4Schools programme. We pass the bags over to our bag provider and they are then filled with toiletries such as a toothbrush and paste, a comb, towel and soap. This helps the children to be healthy as well as prepared for the school day ahead, this also improves confidence, so they are more likely to enjoy school and continue attending.

It’s exciting times for Joe&Johns as the bag drop coincides with our re-launch. After a few minor 'hiccups' early on we are back on track! With a newly updated website, featuring our new summer collection, we are ready to begin reaching our next milestone.

Make sure you keep an eye on our social media pages for promotions which will be running through the summer!
