Is Joe & Johns a non-profit organization?
Joe & Johns is a for-profit company. We use profits from the sale of every Pocketbag to provide one child in need with essential tools for the classroom. We are in business to educate & liberate children in need around the world.
What inspired the start of Joe & Johns?
It was after having a train picnic with two railway children on Joe’s travels around India that first inspired him to begin the Joe & Johns brand. Please read Joe's story here
When do you provide the children with school bags?
For every one of Joe & Johns Pocketbags sold we will provide a child in need with tools essential for the classroom; to provide these children with the tools and confidence to follow their dreams and start their new journey. School bags are distributed in June/July ready for their first day of school or the beginning of a new school year.
How do you distribute the bags?
During Joe's travels and after that inspiring train journey, Joe teamed up with various non-profit organisations to find out more on a first hand experience what can be done to help these children in need. It was those vital established relationships with the NGOs that are now on the forefront of Joe & John's who are able to distribute the bags to the children in most need at that time.
Do all your pockets fit all your t shirts?
Yes! All Joe & Johns pockets are designed and handmade to be completely interchangeable on any of our t shirts or vests no matter what size or shape.
Where are your Pocketbags made?
Currently all of our Pocketbags are hand made in the UK, we are working on plans to employ local Delhi tailor’s to produce the Pocketbags providing a much needed sustainable, fair income for these people, providing a full circle effect for the whole family
